Log Cabin Towels

Log cabin is a magical color-and-weave effect!

When looking at this weave structure you would never believe that only two colors in plain weave would produce such an intricate look. There seems to be so much more going on than just over-and-under plain weave.

Weave Structure: log cabin

Yarns: for hems. (the colors will vary slightly from the photo)

Equipment needed: 4-shaft loom; 12" weaving width; 2 shuttles; 12 dent reed or any reed for 12 epi.

Finished Dimensions:  two tea towels, approximately 9" x 28" hemmed.
